Our first workshop of 2024 will be all about one of the UK’s most successful musicals – Les Miserables.

Set in early 19th-century France, Les Misérables is the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his desire for redemption. It is a tale of revolution, love and the meaning of kindness. This 80’s musical adaption of Victor Hugo’s novel of the same name is one of the most successfully musicals in the world – running for over 35 years.

In this workshop we will not only be going on the journey that led to Les Mis’s success, but also learning songs such as I Dreamed a Dream, Do You Hear the People Sing, Castle on a Cloud, On My Own, Master of the House, A Heart Full of Love and Stars.

Open to 18yrs+, these workshops work from lyrics, so there is no requirement to read music.  It takes place in the Alexander Wilding Room.

Seven-times World Snooker Champion Stephen Hendry takes on his arch rival Steve Davis with your host and referee for the evening the Dennis Taylor.

Come and join the UK’s favourite snooker stars as they recreate the matches that saw them rise to the top of their profession. Stephen Hendry won 7 world championships; Steve Davis won 6 world championships, who is your favourite to win?

Snooker legend ex world champion and now BBC commentator Dennis Taylor is your host and referee for the evening. A night not to be missed! There will also be a Q&A, providing you with the opportunity to pose the questions you always wanted to ask.  The table is on the stage, so it will be filmed and projected onto the big screen.

A limited number of VIP meet and greet tickets are available and this includes a welcome drink.  This starts at 6pm, please come to Box Office.
