Chapter Two by famous playwright Neil Simon is a romantic comedy as well as touching play based around four characters. Neil Simon has based this poignant narrative in part on his own life, reflecting on love the second time.
Recent widower, George Schneider, is encouraged by his younger brother Leo to start dating again. After a series of unsuccessful matches, Leo then introduces him to Jennie Malone and she’s a keeper. Still these not-so-young lovers have a rocky road ahead embracing their new lives. In a hilarious subplot, Leo has a fling with Jennie’s clueless married friend, Faye.
A non-professional production by PBTC in the Alex Wilding Studio.
