Opera Minor, based at the Wyllyotts Theatre since 2002, provides children with a cultural activity, free of charge, which has achieved recognition in the top ranks of the performing arts world.
Opera Minor is supported by grants and sponsorship, most recently by Hertsmere Borough Council, Young Guns Event Company and Laurice Rahmé, founder and owner of Bond No9 in New York.
In December 2025 Opera Minor was nominated for a national award. Capital Arts received the £800 award at Spencer House London on December 17th 2025. Auditions for the next project take place throughout the year at the Wyllyotts Theatre.
